Ciate Velvet Manicure (Review)

I saw this product at Sephora the other day and found it intriguing.

I was a little skeptical at first; but, then, I read the the instruction on how to achieve velvet-like the effect on the back of the manicure kit’s box.

Since the method sounds very much like how fabric manufacturers produce flock ( = create raised textures on fabrics)*, I thought that this product is going to work.

The answer is …


In fact, it’s much more than what I expected.

The upper surfaces of my nails look & feel like real velvet
