Rainy Day with Revolog Tesla 1

I always wanted to test Revolog Tesla 1 film on a rainy day. I figured that the film’s lightning-like special effect would look great with rain water and wet pavements.

Revolog Tesla 1 is a 12-exposure ISO 200 expired 35mm film. According to the product description, blue or white flashes would appear on random spots on the photographs. For some reasons, the flashes on the photos I captured are yellow and green. Actually, every image I captured looks much yellower and greener than in real life. This might have something to do with the fact that Revolog Tesla 1 is an expired film. But, personally, I love the color shift. It enhances the  overall impact of the photos.

In case you are wondering: The camera I used to capture these images is Lomo LC-A+. The camera is compact and easy to use. The only things you need to consider are choosing the right ISO setting and focusing distance. And, in a low light condition, you need to stay still until you hear the second click.

P.S: The best way to find out how the second click sounds like is to shoot – at least one frame – in a moderately low light condition. You are definitely going to hear that click.
